You will be seen by an experienced registered dietitian in Diabetes care can provide ongoing nutrition advice to all people with diabetes or at high risk of developing diabetes.
- Sports Nutrition:
Sports nutrition advice and counselling provided by a registered dietitian with experience in providing sports nutrition counselling to marathon runners and triathlon athletes. The dietitian uses a holistic nutritional therapy approach to support athletes to achieve their goals by making sustainable nutrition and mindset changes that are practical and work around busy training schedules and lifestyles. It is essential to recognise different sports requires different needs and depending on the time of your sports career and season of training you will require different nutritional needs and unique requirements. The aim is fuelling your body well and getting your nutrition right ensures that your training hours don’t go to waste. When you are nourishing your body with the nutrients it needs to sustain your heavy training load, you get optimal recovery, gains and ultimately performance. All advice will be individualised to each athlete.
- Mental Health/ Eating Disorder:
Our dietitian (having worked at The Priory Hospital Roehampton) has specialist experience to provide dietary advice for a range of mental health conditions. Dietetic interventions benefits the following mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, substance abuse, ADHD, autism, dementia or intellectual developmental disorders. Individuals with behavioral health concerns may also have co-occurring medical conditions that require attention from the Registered Dietitian.

Dietetic support is fundamental in cancer care and recovery. With past employment at the Royal Marsden hospital, we have a dietitian with specialist experience in cancer dietetic treatment following weight loss and dysphagia.
